Erika -Owner & Lead Consultant

Erika holds professional certifications in training and behavior, bringing decades of direct experience across sole proprietorships, small independent dog businesses, nonprofit organizations, and corporate pet care environments. Her background includes hands-on leadership in grooming operations, comprehensive training programs, structured daycare and boarding models, and rescue-based services.

Having successfully grown and sold a small business, Erika has also helped several other companies scale from small, individual operations into large-scale facilities. She has guided businesses through the complex transition from a small team of dog walkers and trainers to fully staffed brick-and-mortar buildings with expanded service menus. This gives her first-hand knowledge of the risks, blind spots, and operational breakdowns that often surface during periods of rapid growth or ownership transition.

Her consulting focuses heavily on safety and replicable methods that streamline everyday processes. By building solid standard operating procedures (SOPs) and handling protocols, she helps business owners safely improve throughput and actively limit staff burnout, especially within the physically and mentally demanding environments of grooming, daycare, and training.

She strongly advocates for strict selectivity in both client acquisition and team building. She actively works to dismantle the scarcity mindset that holds back so many pet care companies. Her coaching is rooted in a hard-earned industry truth: you will always regret the problematic client you did not fire soon enough and the employee you kept or promoted against your better judgment. She empowers owners to establish firm boundaries, let go of toxic relationships, and lead with an abundance mindset. She teaches leaders to operate with the absolute confidence that there are always more and better clients.

Her work is always grounded in three core pillars: animal welfare, staff safety, and long-term business stability.
